Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 10:46AM As of today Alpsport has started a dog minding service and we had our first furry friend drop in yesterday!
Our inhouse dog minder, Carmel, will happily take care of your special friend while you shop. No longer will you have to leave your poor puppy alone at home to fend for itself while you are out. Just pop it into your handbag on the way out of the house and Carmel will do the rest!

If you are not aware, this is the new standard in top end cross country and alpine touring boots this boot and in fact a world first, it can be both your telelmark and alpine touring boot!
The NTN bindings from Roteffella are also in stock to fully fit out your package but remember this is a serious boot/binding combination and you will want a heavy duty ski to complete the set up.
The Scarpa Terminator X Pro is the strongest telemark boot from Scarpa, with great torsional rigidity, so it is well suited to the heavy duty NTN binding. With the softer bellows fore foot, walk function and a fully heat mouldable it is a great boot to hike in but still with great downhill control due to the torsional rigidity.

Do your so-called skiing ‘friends’ always complain you’re to slow? Do you feel you don’t get the same tight feel as a two strap system gives you with your fast access system? Do you prefer an automatic transmission to manual? Do you find some of the fast access systems are as big as a hot water tank? If you answered yes to any of these questions then K2 has your solution.

So what is the Auto and how does it work? K2 has engineered a system that fixes all the problems listed above. The binding is simple in function: you tighten the main heel strap and the toe strap tightens as well. Is it magic you ask? The answer is no. K2 connects high grade steel wire to the ladder of the heel strap and then feeds it through the base plate to the toe strap. The great thing about this system is that there is no chance of it jamming in cold weather as there is nothing obstructing the wire. Furthermore, as there are less moving parts, there are fewer breakages. It’s just ingenious!
The Auto range has a couple of different stiffness’s and compositions to suit a heap of different boards and we at APS will be carrying the entire range. This means we definitely have an Auto to suit you!
