2012 Burton Hail Now In Store
Check, check, check, check it out! We’ve been lucky enough to score an early drop of 2012 Burton Hail’s in White/Tan/Green!
I love to customize boots and this boot makes it easy for sure. Being a traditional lace boot with the park rider in mind, the features of 2012 Burton Hail are straight up awesome. The fit is still reasonably wide through the forefoot and molds nicely within the first week as well as feeling great straight out of the box. Have a look at the shots below and some of the best features too!
- Flex Liner: this is a park specific liner only available on the Hail and Rampant for 2012 and really gives the boot an awesome soft feel without compromising any support.
- ‘Stay Puft’ puffy tongue: underneath the laces all the way up the tongue there is a puffy cushioning so you can crank up the boots and your bindings and not feel the pressure of it on your ankle – or anywhere else for that matter!
- Shrinkage™ Technology: the overall footprint of the boot is one size smaller than the measured size. For example, a size 10 boot has the footprint of a size 9 boot – BOOM!
- Snow-proof gusset: All 2012 Burton boot tongues have been upgraded with an internal gusset construction to completely seal the lower zone of the boot,.
- Articulating Cuff: gives the boot a natural flex at the ankle which means less pack out and a longer lasting fit. Sweet for the park rider for sure.
- J-Bar Interface: not too many people know about this one but inside the ankle harness of the boot, there are Velcro patches where you can add in foam J-Bars. J-Bars are small J-shaped pieces of foam that stick to the ankle harness in the shell and wrap around the ankle bone and Achilles to increase ankle support and decrease heel lift.
- Support rating: 4 (the lower the number the more freedom of movement and less responsiveness)
- 270 degree Airbag cushioning: 75% of the midsole is an airbag so when it comes to hard landings and heel bruising, these boots have your heels in mind!
