Volcom Outerwear
Volcom has a long history in surf, skate and snow. In recent years Volcom have really made a push in the snow industry and rightly so. With high waterproofings, durable outer fabrics, a technical Goretex range and all of this at some of the best prices on the market Volcom are really making their stamp on the industry. The following blog is a review of Volcom outerwear from some really positive experiences using their product.

Being a snowboarder one of the most important items I take a lot of time when buying are my pants. Each year I go through a pair of pants thanks to many hours sitting on chairlifts, dragging my cuffs along the ground and simple wear and tear. One of the biggest things that really sets me off is getting on a chair lift on a cold powder day and noticing my pants are ripped around the crotch area, ripped on a side seam or worst of all soaked through. Prior to using the Volcom product there was only a hand full of companies I would buy pants from but just before leaving for Europe I purchased the new set of Volcom New Modern pants. The New Modern Pant has a much more tailored fit compared to my old baggy style. And before anyone says it, yes ladies and gentle I got sucked in by the slim fit style. At first I was afraid they would be too tight but Volcom have done a great job engineering this pant. They have a used a stretch fabric that is nylon based making the fabric extra durable but still giving you the ability to take a wide stance. In addition to this the pant has a 15,000mm waterproofing and 10,000gsm breathability, great for damp Australian days and powder days overseas. To finish the New Modern pant Volcom have added their patented Thermonite insulation and put in a tone of pockets to store all your bits and pieces. The New Modern pant is truly a technically pant built using some simple ideas. But features such as the ones listed above are not exclusive to this pant. You can find all these features throughout the Volcom line, including their jacket range.

Volcoms style has been quite unique over the years. Bold colors, crazy patterns, weird collaborations and that unique Volcom stone logo have all become synonymous with the brand. When you first pull down a Volcom jacket or pant from the rack your initial reaction might be of shock. My advice is try them on. When you team up a Volcom jacket with a pant not only will you get the option of using Volcoms patented Zip Tech (pants connect to jacket) but you will also have a fresh unique outerwear combination that I guarantee many people will respect around the world.
I know this was a short blog compared to other ones I have posted but I would like to conclude this blog by saying get out there and get into Volcom. I definitely support the company and this is coming from someone who just loves his snowboarding and not getting paid to say this.
Peace out
Andy
