We are one of Sydney’s leading stockists of a full range of climbing gear and accessories. At Alpsport, the staff rock climb regularly and understand the range of equipment well. We are always able to offer advice on the latest gear and technology, or even just the whereabouts of a good place to boulder.

Our range includes harnesses by Black Diamond, Petzl and Vertical; Climbing shoes by Madrock to suit either a budding gym climber to climbers on the harder end of the scale and we also stock chalk bags by Black Diamond and Beal.

At Alpsport we keep a range of climbing ropes from Edelrid and Beal, in a range of lengths and diameters. We also carry a full range of accessory cord from 3 to 8mm. To keep your head safe we keep a broad selection of helmets by Edelrid, Petzl and Black Diamond from lightweight to heavy duty models.

We have a very large selection of carabineers, quickdraws, belay and abseiling devices, bolt plates from PFH, maillon connectors, ascenders and other mechanical devices from brands like Black Diamond, Petzl, Kong, SRTE, Omega Pacific.

Alpsport also offers a large range of traditional protection from Black Diamond and Wild Country this includes, large to micro sized spring loaded camming devices, nuts, hexes, hooks and a bunch of softgoods including; slings, webbing either pre-stitched or off the roll, daisy chains and lanyards.

Other accessories include; chalk powder, liquid or ball, rope wash solutions, rope cleaners, hand strengthening equipment from Gripmaster and Black Diamond.

We also have a selection of books including climbing guides, “how to” books on technique, rope setups and safety.
